The Omni-Chill PAC Chiller is a self-contained, portable chiller complete with fluid reservoir, pump, evaporator, compressor, condenser and all necessary controls.
Mechanical refrigeration chillers cool warm process water by pumping it through a refrigerant circuit and returning it to the facility.
In the refrigerant circuit, refrigerant circulates through an evaporator, compressor, condenser, and expansion device. The refrigerant cycle absorbs the heat, rejects it to the surrounding air, and supplies refrigerant at below-ambient temperature for cooling.
Air-cooled chillers force air across the refrigerant lines to discharge the heat.
Water-cooled chillers pump warm condenser water to a cooling tower, where heat is discharged.
The Omni-Chill PAC-SW air-cooled chiller reliably cools processes under a range of operating conditions. Even under extreme conditions, the PAC-SW Chiller holds fluid temperatures at 55° to 80°F.
The Omni-Chill PWC-SW water-cooled chiller reliably cools processes under a range of operating conditions. Even under extreme conditions, the PAC-SW Chiller holds fluid temperatures at 55° to 80°F.
These integrated cooling/chilling systems are the perfect compromise between the high-energy efficiency of air-cooled heat exchangers and consistent temperature control of industrial chillers.
